Mindmap:

To start my sketchbook I took the traditional approach and began with a mindmap, I wanted to practise my perspective drawing and marker rendering skills, as well as make an impact on my first page creating a detailed and complex piece.

This design was not an easy undertaking, it took many hours to draw and achieve the printed rendering effect, particularly as I paid attention to shadows and lighting!

However I am very pleased with the final result and it feels great to have begun to work in my *very* large sketchbook.
